This morning my pops went in for what he thought would be a routine oblation (a surgery where doctors burn certain nerves in the heart to correct rhythm). Before doing the actual procedure doctors go in to 'map' the heart. When this was taking place they found a blot clot the size of the top of his thumb. That halted everything. New plan; get him on heavy blood thinners to try to dissolve the clot. We went and visited him at McKay Dee tonight. (Probably shouldn't have brought Krispy Kreme's) Regardless, he was doing well considering. We're praying the heavy blood thinners and medical expertise will take care of this scary problem. We feel very blessed that the clot was found before it caused a stroke or heart attack. Love you Dad! Get well soon!
