Wikipedia's Labor Day vs. The Rodger's Labor Day

Labor Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the first Monday in September. The holiday originated in 1882 as the Central Labor Union (of New York City) sought to create "a day off for the working citizens". Congress made Labor Day a federal holiday in 1894.[1] All fifty states have made Labor Day a state holiday.Traditionally, Labor Day is celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer. Sadly it symbolizes the end of Alvin and I's summer as well. While we should be celebrating by boating, four wheeling, or full on relaxing - due to our procrastination Alvin and I will be using the day to literally labor. We'll be up at 7:00 am for our day of homework, essays, and applications! Here's to the good ol' USA, generous employers, and a day to catch up!

then i shall completely forgive you for showing no interest in coming out to my house for a barbeque. honestly i was confused why dad wanted to do it so much. it was his idea. either way, as soon as a movie worth seeing comes out you and alvin will most decidedly be taking a study break to hit the movies with us on a double date!
